Gestalt therapist in Tel Aviv and online
I help people live through change, understand themselves and each other better, and find solid ground when the familiar ways stop working.

Perhaps right now you…
• have moved to another country and feel that your usual sources of support have disappeared;
• are tired of coping, but can't allow yourself to stop;
• doubt yourself, put off decisions, live with a constant inner critic;
• you struggle to form relationships — or are in one that no longer feels fulfilling;
• are going through a break-up, a loss, a change of job or another life crisis;
• want to understand what you truly want, rather than simply living up to other people’s expectations.

You don’t have to wait until things become unbearable to start therapy. It’s enough to feel that your usual ways of coping are no longer working and that you’d like to make sense of what’s happening with the support of an attentive and compassionate therapist.
What I work with
How I work
Gestalt therapy is an attentive dialogue about what is happening with you right now: what you feel, how you build relationships, what you avoid and what you need. I don't offer universal recipes and I don't judge your decisions. Together we explore your situation and look for options that fit the life you are living today.

My work is grounded in respect, confidentiality, clear agreements and a pace that allows you to stay connected with yourself. In a session, you may speak, pause, doubt, not know the answer or tell me when something does not feel right.

About the method

Gestalt therapy

  • Dialogue is the core of my work. You gain a new experience of relating, one you can go on to use in your own life.

  • The central concept of Gestalt therapy is “contact” — real interaction with other people and with your surroundings. As we work, you learn to recognise your own assumptions and fantasies, and to find healthier ways of being in contact with yourself and with others.
Principles of my work

  • Respect, free of judgement. Every person deserves respect regardless of gender, nationality or sexual orientation.

  • Your own pace. You decide how much you open up, and how deeply you go into your feelings, at every point in the work.

  • Readiness to work. The outcome of therapy depends on the therapist's professionalism and equally on the client's involvement, readiness to work, willingness to collaborate and to become aware.
What you get from working with me

  • You will be able to make sense of the situation that troubles you and find the inner resources to meet the difficulty.

  • You will learn to be more fully aware of your thoughts, feelings and bodily reactions. That helps you feel more whole and make choices that rest on yourself rather than on someone else's opinion.

  • You will treat yourself with more care and respect.

Working agreements

Confidentiality
Everything you tell me is strictly confidential and will not go beyond our conversation. The one exception is professional supervision, where general aspects of the work are discussed without revealing your identity.
Relationships
The social roles of client and therapist do not change beyond the consulting relationship. We cannot enter into friendships, romantic, family or business relationships.
Care for the client
You can always stop the conversation, decline a question or a suggestion, and ask me for support at any point in a session. All your feelings, thoughts and words matter — none of them are pointless or silly. If you don't know what to say, or don't want to talk about something, you can simply tell me.
Cancelling / rescheduling
If you need to cancel or move a session, please do so 24 hours ahead or more — there is no charge.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before, the session is paid in full.
Your condition at the session
Please do not come to a session under the influence of mind-altering substances — alcohol, drugs or strong sedatives — unless they have been prescribed by your doctor. If you are taking psychotropic medication, please let me know.
Ending our work
Ending therapy is an important part of the therapeutic relationship. If you decide to end our work together, please let me know. We will then arrange one or more final sessions, depending on what we agree. This will give us an opportunity to reflect on our work, discuss your experience, and finish therapy thoughtfully and with care.
Formats and fees
We’ll discuss the frequency and format of our work during the first session.

Individual therapy usually takes place once a week. For couples, we agree on a suitable frequency together.

*Payment in euros, dollars or roubles is also possible. In that case the fee is confirmed when you book.
