English-speaking therapist in Tel Aviv — Gestalt therapy for individuals and couples

I’m Daria Nektorova, a Gestalt therapist and supervisor, member of the European Association for Gestalt Therapy (EAGT). I offer therapy in English and Russian for individuals and couples — in person in Tel Aviv and online.

Many of my clients are olim, expats and international couples who want to talk about what matters in a language they feel at home in. I moved to Israel myself in 2022, so I know how much a new country can shake familiar ground. In private practice since 2018, working with couples since 2020.

What people come to me with

  • relationship difficulties and recurring conflicts with a partner;
  • international and mixed couples, different cultures and expectations;
  • adapting to life in Israel after aliyah or relocation;
  • burnout, anxiety and a feeling of being stuck;
  • self-doubt, a harsh inner critic, difficulty setting boundaries;
  • breakups, loss and other life crises.

How I work

Gestalt therapy is an attentive dialogue about what is happening in your life and in your relationships right now — your feelings, needs, habitual ways of reacting and the choices available to you. We usually meet once a week; for couples we agree on the rhythm together. In the first session we get to know each other, talk about your request and decide whether to continue. Everything you share stays confidential.
